About Graffiti Art Collectibles
I discovered graffiti through Sidney’s show in the 80s (french Hip Hop tv show). I really started to get interested in it at the very beginning of the 90s and the arrival of rap, hip hop culture in France (NTM, Rap’attitude, Assassin). At that time, a lot of kids were tagging on their notebooks or desks. It was complicated without social networks to learn about the subject, and at that age the political side escaped me. It was a bit “trendy” as they used to say.
I really learned the codes, the rules of this movement from 2003, I had a girlfriend who was a journalism student and image reporter. She was passionate about the subject. We started tagging together, then especially me because I was slacking off. I went out every night. I was addicted to that famous adrenaline rush when you pose. But I had to stop following problems with the law for something completely different. What followed was a long, very vague and long period of my life… I partied, I worked in the hotel industry, I didn’t like it!
In 2012 I met MOZE156, and there I learned a lot of things, especially about New York, his city of passion. We tagged every day, I hosted him. He did sketches, I sold paintings and we shared the profit. He squandered, I invested in a graffiti art collection, I was bulimic, all my money went into that. At the same time I was contacted by various sales entities to work with them (auction houses, galleries, exhibitions, etc.). I also saw a lot of artists, I learned a lot from them in our “training days” evenings in various Parisian apartments and squats. It’s here around the sketches, listening to anecdotes from the past that we learned a lot. I also browse the internet far and wide, I read, I look at everything I can on graffiti.
And then “patatra” my mother passes away, my father hurts me for money, I become handicapped… I decide to get back on my feet, so that my mother is proud of me, wherever she is.
I immerse myself in work, collecting, collecting, collecting… to save myself!
Here I am this day arrived at the evidence that I have to build this site…
