BIOGRAPHY

Psyckoze began in the world of graffiti at the end of 1984, at the age of 15. At that time, this culture only represented around fifteen people in France. He starts by tagging ‘Acro. He then adopted the pseudonym Psychose in 1987, in response to the attacks perpetrated in Paris by Action Directe, which would later definitively become Psyckoze.

For fifteen years, Psyckoze continued his quest for identity in order to gain recognition in the microcosm of graffiti by renewing his style. From the palisades of the Louvre to the Bastille via the banks of the Seine, he creates graffiti in the most astonishing places, seeking above all to surprise. He does color graffiti in the subway tunnels. It was in this context that he met Colt, who would be a determining factor in the evolution of his style.

Psyckoze today develops his work in parallel in the workshop and in the street which are inseparable for him. The Museum of Civilizations of Europe and the Mediterranean in Marseille has acquired several of his works.
