Biography

Born in 1966 in Guadeloupe, JAYONE is one of the first artists to do graffiti in France, he is nicknamed the Black Picasso. He began playing with bombs in 1983 and founded the famous BBC (Bad Boy Crew) in Paris with Ash and SKKI, a crew which would be considered a precursor of the graffiti movement in Europe. At this time he became a real essential figure of the 80s. He has exhibited numerous times since the 90s, and is called upon by many artists for collaborations such as the Rolling Stones for the traveling exhibition “Mystère Vaudou Lounge”. Today he is a member of Group 156 and continues to indulge in painting.
