Synopsis
New York, 1970s. Gangs share the city’s slums. Cyrus, undisputed leader of the all-powerful Gramercy Riffs, decides to organize a meeting in order to unify the gangs and raise a real army against the police and the mafia. Very quickly, the meeting goes wrong and Cyrus is assassinated in public.
The culprit, Luther, puts the blame on the Warriors gang, thus triggering a run to which all the other gangs are invited. It’s a fight for survival that begins, because the Warriors, accompanied by Mercy, the girlfriend of a gang leader they met on their way, remain on a long journey from the Bronx to Coney Island, their original neighborhood, a journey described by the radio DJ.
